Capacity

What is Coca Capacity?

Coca Capacity classes utilize CrossFit’s philosophy of ‘constantly varied functional movement’ with the focus being on increasing an athletes overall fitness capacity. Workouts are geared toward conditioning, joint health and increasing an overall work capacity.
How is the Capacity class different than the regular CrossFit classes?

CrossFit:
The definition of CrossFit is ‘constantly varied, functional movements, performed at high intensity’.
CONSTANTLY VARIED— Every day is different.
FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENTS— Make you stronger in the gym so you are stronger outside of the gym.
HIGH INTENSITY— How hard your body is working during physical activity.

Capacity:
Capacity classes will utilize the same workouts/movements as our regular classes but they will be done with lighter weights over a longer time domain making the daily focus on overall work capacity and cardio.
Example:
Regular CrossFit class:
10 Power Snatches (75/55)
20 Double Unders
AMRAP in 10min

Capacity class:
10 Power Cleans (65/45)
20 Double Unders
AMRAP in 10min
Rest 2 min then…..
10 KB Swings
20 Step ups
x4 rounds

Why would I take the Capacity class?

Athletes may want to utilize the Capacity class for a wide-variety of reasons, increase your cardio vascular capabilities, increase blood flow for recovery or loss weight.

When are Coca’s Capacity classes?

Coca Capacity classes are offered Monday thru Friday 6:00-7:00am AND 7:00-8:00am. As we gain some momentum we’ll look at expanding this class to additional time slots.
Getting Started in Coca’s Capacity class?

Current Coca members are able to attend when ever they would like
NEW members can start in our Capacity class by registering through email at cocacrossfit@gmail.com
One month of capacity will prepare and qualify you for any CrossFit class on our calendar (one month in this class will take the place of our monthly Foundations class)
Pricing structure for the Capacity class is the same as regular CrossFit class pricing
