At Coca CrossFit we understand the activity gets the results and the community makes it fun, so we spotlight a different athlete each month in order to foster that community and all get a chance to learn more about each other - what drives us, why we started, why we stay and what we do for fun when we're not at the gym.

This month our focus is on an athlete that has been coming to Coca CrossFit for over seven years, has enjoyed being a member alongside his wife for many of those years and now enjoys bringing his two children who keep themselves occupied in our kid-friendly areas while Sean gets his work-out in.

About Our December Athlete of the Month

Age: 36

Job: Sean has been a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Avon Fire Department for 12 years

Favorite Exercise: tire flips, stones, deadlift, running

Lost 50 Pounds and Gained Strength

Biggest accomplishment: Improved my overall fitness since starting in 2013. Lost almost 50 lbs and became stronger then I was in my early 20’s.

Goal: Improve on double unders, pullups, rope climbs.

Favorite thing about coca: Great community. Everyone rallys around each other.

Outside of gym: I love spending time with my family. I love all Cleveland sports especially the Browns. Cooking.

Favorite food: Mexican
